Hosting liability was limited because no company can read a billion posts a day before they appear. Harm to a minor has no legal definition, so the safe move is to demand government ID from everyone and delete teen accounts. Compliance is cheaper than nuance. Courts cannot separate a platform's effect from a bad school year or a divorce. Judges would end up designing childhoods.
