A prenup is negotiated by two lawyers, each paid to win against the other person, weeks before the ceremony. The terms get set by whoever has more money and more time to walk away. Default marital law already divides property, and it flexes for the career one spouse abandons to raise children. A fixed contract cannot. Declining that is judgment.
