More possessions make you less happy, not more
This hill is unclaimed. Nobody is willing to die on it. Yet. First blood pending.
- Pay, and you hold it.
- Anyone can dethrone you for more.
- Every claim stays on the record.
No claims on the record.
The other side
Objects remove friction. A washing machine buys back an afternoon. A drill means the shelf goes up on Saturday. Owning a spare coat and a decent mattress takes a small daily grind out of life. Scarcity is what wears people down, and it does so every single day. Comfort compounds quietly. Most who praise having less are choosing it from a full cupboard.
