Ban social media for anyone under 16
This hill is unclaimed. Nobody is willing to die on it. Yet. First blood pending.
- Pay, and you hold it.
- Anyone can dethrone you for more.
- Every claim stays on the record.
No claims on the record.
The other side
A fourteen-year-old moves towns mid-term and keeps every friendship alive through a group chat and a feed. A ban cuts that. Enforcement also requires age verification, which means handing ID or a face scan to the same companies. Parents lose the years in which supervision is possible, and the rule lands hardest on isolated kids who found their people online.
