Productivity culture is a scam that manufactures more work
This hill is unclaimed. Nobody is willing to die on it. Yet. First blood pending.
- Pay, and you hold it.
- Anyone can dethrone you for more.
- Every claim stays on the record.
No claims on the record.
The other side
A capture habit works by moving commitments out of memory and onto a list where their real size is visible. That visibility is what makes refusal possible. The relief is real. Nobody can decline the fourteenth request while guessing. Deadlines get renegotiated because the calendar shows they collide. The workload expanding afterwards comes from a manager or an ambition, and the list is what makes either one arguable.
